Too many of our students face hunger issues:

  • 1010 Total Enrollment for 2021-2022

  • ~86% of these students are at risk, with many living in poverty.

  • Inability to concentrate

  • Poor academic performance

  • Headaches and stomach aches

  • Depression and low self esteem

A community program which provides a bag of food, weekly, to supplement weekend meals and snacks.  As of 2021-2022 school year; we are serving more than 120 students a week who regularly face food emergencies.

 

Our projected cost for 2021-2022 is: $20,000

Uplift Pine River Kids is a community non-profit program created to help those students living in rural poverty, who often face food emergencies.  Uplift will provide a weekly bag of food, to help supplement weekend meals and snacks. 

Uplift Pine River Kids is not affiliated or funded by Pine River Area Schools.
