Too many of our students face hunger issues:

  • 1037 Total Enrollment for 2016-2017

  • ~80% of these students are at risk

  • ~44%-47% of these students are living in poverty

  • Inability to concentrate

  • Poor academic performance

  • Headaches and stomach aches

  • Depression and low self esteem

A community program which provides a bag of food, weekly, to supplement weekend meals and snacks for 150 students who regularly face food emergencies.


The projected cost for our first year: $25,600.

The Problem:

Uplift Pine River Kids is a community non-profit program created to help those students living in rural poverty, who often face food emergencies.  Uplift will provide a weekly bag of food, to help supplement weekend meals and snacks. 

Uplift Pine River Kids is not affiliated or funded by Pine River Area Schools.
